The time was 5:30 and we hopped off Manurewa East School playground and ran towards the hall ready to take our seats. The hall was packed with multi-cultural families and friends. The performances had everyone excited and proud of their children/friends/relatives. I thought it was a great idea to create a cultural performance especially during the world cup.
I made sure that I took a lot of photos of my sister and the samoan group as they did Samoan Traditional Dances. They were ready to perform at Manurewa Intermediate. Overall I enjoyed it and thought it was a great opportunity to show how multi-cultural, hard working and creative the school is.
